2/12/25 – For sale is a Chilean Contract Model 1895 Mauser made by Ludwig Loewe and was accepted in 1895. This rifle is in great shape overall with the main blemish being pitting on the bolt handle. The barrel and receiver retain a dark blued finish with some spotting of old oxidation on the barrel. There is some freckled pitting on the leaf spring for the front barrel band. The stock is excellent with some dings and handling marks. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, stock, cleaning rod, bolt, and cocking sleeve. The left side of the stock has a sharp Chilean crest over 1895. The bore is bright with good rifling.
