12/10/24 – For sale is a Mosin Nagant Model 1891 made by Remington for Czarist Russia during WW1. This specific rifle is unique as it has the Russian Acceptance Roundel on the right side but this example does not look to have experienced any sort of battle in Europe. This likely was a part of the last batch approved by Russian Inspectors prior to the Communist takeover of Russia. The metal has signs of old oxidation but retains the majority of its old bluing. The walnut stock is in great condition with minor dings and marks on the stock. The handguard does have a crack on top. The bore is bright with good rifling. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the barrel shank, bolt, cocking piece, buttplate, and magazine floor plate. The stock has Finnish sling swivels installed but could have been installed by a prior owner
