08/01/2024 – For sale is a very nice Spencer Model 1865 Carbine made during the 1860s. The carbine is in excellent condition for being nearly 160 years old. The metal on the carbine has spots of freckling and minor prickling of pitting visible. The visible pitting is shallow and not of any concern. The stock and forestock are also very nice and in great condition. The left side of the stock is stamped with inspector proofs. There are no cracks or breaks. The bore is bright and in great condition but there is pitting visible towards the muzzle.
