12/1/23 – This is a very rare and desirable Arisaka Type 99 sniper rifle made at the Nagoya factory during World War 2.All numbered parts on the rifle match, including the full bolt assembly, and it has an early two-digit serial number.The bluing is original throughout but the mum has been ground, and there is some patina throughout.Excellent bore.The rifle is fitted with a scope marked ‘Takahito 4×7’ along the top, with serial number ‘12303’ on it.The optics are fairly clear but there are flecks of dirt in the field of view here or there.Excellent wood stock but has been lightly sanded at some point.Comes with a cleaning rod, and also a period leather sling.
