3/13/25 – This is a very nice example of a Walther PP issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper “Waffen 359” military proofs. This one has a beautiful plumb color to its finish and comes fitted with rare red-colored Walther grips – both are correct for this serial range in 1943. Comes with a scarce, end-of-war, “w” marked phosphate magazine. There is a lanyard loop that was added by the French after the war. It was likely issued to the French police. It has retained about 92% of its original finish. There is high edge wear in general and spotty wear on both sides and top of the slide. One spot of wear at the base of the front strap. Spotty oxidation on the straps and near the muzzle. The bore is excellent with strong rifling. There is a series of numbers scratched into the right side of the frame under the grip panel.
