7/28/23 – This is an excellent, original Mauser C96 Broomhandle rig.It’s a wartime commercial example, made in ~1917.The pistol itself is matching numbers throughout but the grips are mismatched (to each other and the pistol).The gun has excellent bluing with minor holster wear on the high edges but no notable areas of finish loss.Germany export mark on right side of receiver.The bore has strong rifling but minor frost throughout.The listing includes a period stock, which has a personalized brass nameplate on the back.The stock is in decent shape but does have a noticeable gouge and a thin surface crack along one edge.
