Description
8/30/23 – This is a very nice example of a Winchester M1 Carbine issued to the US military in about 1943. It has all of the proper Winchester parts except for the sling swivel, which is likely a replacement. It has the proper “I cut” stock with “WRA GHD” inspection initials and cross-canon cartouche. However, the stock appears to have been lightly sanded. Comes with one proper magazine, a period-correct canvas sling, and an oiler. There is not much actual finish loss on the metal parts, but there are areas of minor pitting along the barrel and light brown patina throughout. Excellent wood stock. Mint bore.
