10/31/23 – This is an M1 Carbine in excellent condition made by Winchester in 1944. The rifle retains the majority of its factory finish with only minor spots of edge wear.The receiver is marked Winchester and a W on the rear tang and has the late-war style adjustable sights. The barrel is also marked with a W and has a type 3 barrel band. The stock is free of any damage. It is stamped with “MR” on the side and the Circle P Proof on the bottom. The bore is mirror bright with sharp rifling. comes with.a canvas M1 Carbine sling and 1 magazine.
