Description
9/6/23 – This is a Winchester M1886 Musket Socket bayonet. The spike bayonet comes as shown, with no scabbard included. The blade measures about 18 inches long, and overall length is around 21.25 inches. There’s light surface patina and dark discoloration throughout the bayonet, but no major areas of textured rust or pitting. There’s one small area of pitting near the tip of the blade. No markings or stamps, and a functional release swivel.
