4/8/24 – This is a nice example of a Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle, manufactured in 1899 and chambered in .38 WCF. Round barrel. The finish on the metal parts rates roughly 65% with general thinning, high edge wear, and “attic patina” throughout. The wood furniture is pretty nice with only mild signs of wear and use. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is tiny pitting throughout. Fully functional. Smooth action.
