Description
9/29/23 – This is a Winchester Model 1892 lever action rifle, manufactured in 1894 and chambered in .25-20 WCF. It is matching and has a peep-style rear sight. The bluing is virtually all gone with obvious finish loss and spotty brown patina throughout. Some areas of tiny pitting here and there, most noticeable on the receiver. Excellent wood furniture. The bore has good rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
