11/11/20 – This is an original Winchester Model 1917 rifle from 1918.It has flaming bomb proofs on receiver, bolt handle and barrel.Barrel is dated to September of 1918.The blued finish is original with minor thinning/oxidation on trigger group and receiver.Fantastic stock with what appears to be Springfield Armory proof behind the trigger guard.Bore has strong rifling but some frost throughout.Comes with period leather sling.
