Description
10/30/23 – This is an excellent example of a US Model 1917 made by Winchester in 1919. This is an excellent example that was made a few months after WW1. The barrel is marked February of 1919, W stamp for Winchester, and the Flaming Bomb Ordnance Stamp. The finish on the rifle is in great shape with only scratches visible around the receiver from handling. The stock is also in great shape with the only blemishes being a stain on the left side by the wrist area and a chip missing on the edge around the magazine floor. The bore is very bright and the rifling is sharp.
