5/12/23 – This is a mint condition canvas rifle sling for a Springfield Krag, M1903, or model 1917 rifle. These slings were produced in the late 1890’s through WW1. They were also found with M1921 and M1928 Thompson SMG’s. This example has beautiful light tan canvas and excellent metal fixtures throughout. The metal shows some mild patina from age but no major issues. This is the longer length variation, measuring approximately 55.5 inches at full length.
