6/5/23 – This is an original WW1 Imperial Navy Luger magazine. These rare variation magazines are characterized by the concentric circles on either side of the wood base. The base of this example is also crown/M navy proof stamped. The base also has an early style serial number: 9747″ stamped on the base. The “ears” or sides of the base have a few small chips and imperfections, as shown in photos. The nickel tube is in great condition with some minor surface patina and light discoloration. The spring is strong and fully functional.
