1/21/25 – This is a good example of a WW1 era US M1907 Leather Rifle Sling made by Hoyt in 1918. The sling is all original with matching pieces of leather on both portions of the sling. The leather is dark brown and aged throughout with some surface wrinkling and scuffing. There are some mild cracks near the adjustment holes in the leather. The sling is maker stamped “HOYT 1918” and inspector stamped “J.C.Y.”. The leather retaining loops are original and intact.
