Description

12/10/24 -This is a great example of a WW1 Luger holster made by J.M. Eckart. This holster interestingly was repurposed after WW1 and was used by the Police in Wurttemberg, Germany. This is indicated by the “P.W.” stamping on the front of the leather flap. The “2347” stamp is the inventory number for this holster with the police . Additionally this holster is also marked with”P under a Staghorn” on the front flap. This marking is the acceptance mark for Ulm, Germany, which is where this holster was manufactured. The back of the holster is maker stamped and is still legible. Overall the leather on this holster is in great condition and is still pliable. The holster’s stitching remains intact and strong.
