2/14/25 – This is a good example of a WW1 Luger Tool. This Luger tool retains most of its original finish, but is starting to thin. The tool has some minor scratching and pin pricking throughout. The flat edge of the tool does have some edge damage. The reverse of this tool is numbered, we do not know if this numbering is related to a unit, or that of a police number. It was not uncommon for tools and Luger pistols to be converted from military service to police guns after the war.
