Description
1/7/26 – This is a WWI M1905 Springfield rifle bayonet by Springfield Armory. Complete with a canvas covered scabbard. It is dated 1913, being made during the pre-WWI period for the M1903 Springfield rifle. It is still in the original issued configuration, with a 16 inch blade, blued handle and cross guard, with wooden grip scales. The blade shows some minor scabbard wear, however, most of the bluing is worn or buffed off. There is no evidence of sharpening. Mechanically functional.
