1/24/25 – This is a good example of a Mills M1910 US Army Dismounted Rifle Cartridge Belt. These belts were originally made for mounted cavalry so that they could easily carry additional ammo while mounted. This belt is in good overall condition, but does have fraying throughout. The fabric has become brittle with age but is still complete. This belt is marked with Aug. 1917 as well as the Mills logo. This belt comes with a canteen that is named to a S.D. Allen J.R..
