Description
6/12/23 – This is an original WW1 era leather rifle sling. The sling/strap is in great condition – especially when accounting for its’ age. The leather has some minor surface wrinkling and wear, but no deep cracks or issues. The strap is maker stamped “I.S. Co.” as well as “WHF.” and a 1917 date stamp. Most of the stitching is intact except for a small area on one of the keepers. The other keeper appears to have been replaced as it is a slightly different color.
