Description
4/3/23 – This is an original WW2 British Combat helmet. The helmet comes with a vintage photo of a soldier wearing a similar style helmet with netting over the exterior. The helmet is in great overall condition with no dents or issues with the exterior shell. Some typical, mild paint loss and patina. The interior liner has surface cracking around the bent brim and interior portion, as shown. This is typical surface wear and aging but the liner is still completely intact. The interior crown area of the helmet shows the liner is stamped “7 1/2 V.M.C. II – 1942”. The cloth chinstrap is original and intact as well.
