11/1/24 – This is a great example of a 1943 M1 Carbine Canvas Jump Scabbard, made by Alltex Products Company. These bags were created for airborne troops to keep their M1 Carbine rifles safe and intact during a jump.This scabbard is made of thick durable canvas, the canvas does have some stains but is in overall great condition.The stamps on this scabbard are beginning to fade with age. The U.S. on the flap is beginning to fade as well as the makers marks inside the flap. However, these stamps are still legible and recognizable. The stitching on this scabbard remains strong and intact.
