4/25/24 – This is a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1918. Intertwined “HP” Colt barrel. The finish rates roughly 70% with obvious finish loss on the grip straps and splotchy discoloration along the whole slide where it has cold-blue touch up. An area of pin-pricking on the left side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone magazine. The bore has good rifling with minor frosting in the grooves.
