Description
6/4/24 – This is a very nice example of a Colt Model 1917 Revolver, issued to the US military during WWI. All matching with the proper military proofs. There is an “AA” marking on the left side of the frame, indicating it was reworked at the Augusta Arsenal, likely for re-issue during WW2. The entire gun has been parkerized with just some small scratches and handling marks here and there. Fitted with later reddish-brown plastic grips. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
