6/11/24 – This is an excellent example of a Yugoslavian Mauser Zastava M48 rifle manufactured in the 1950’s. It is mostly matching, but the bolt is mismatched. Import mark on the barrel. Yugo crest on the receiver. The finish rates about 97%. Some spotty oxidation on the butt plate. The stock shows some areas of “buggering”, most obvious on the left side. The bore has good rifling, but there is minor frosting throughout.
