6/2/26- For sale is a nice Nazi era police sword. Most state organizations were issued with dress weapons during the WW2 era, including the police. The sword blade is very clean, with only a few spots of patina or scabbard wear. The blade has a clear Eickhorn proofmark. The wooden handle has a German police eagle inset in it with extended wings and the surrounding wreath. There is patina and wear on the finger guard. The scabbard is intact with no serious damage and only light paint loss. The portepee knot appears to be a reproduction. Overall in excellent condition.
