7/28/25 – The following is a MK2 Utility, Kabar style knife issued to the US Navy in excellent condition. The blade is blued steel that is in very nice condition with evidence of normal use and mild wearing of the bluing. The blade has been sharpened and there are some scratches near the blade. The manufacturer mark on the guard and “USN Mark 2” are clear and present. The handle is wrapped in dark leather that has a nice natural patina. The scabbard, which is leather and securely holds the knife may be original to the piece but it is impossible to tell as there are no visible stamps or markings.
