06/05/2024 – For sale is a Mauser Model 1871/84 made by the Amberg Arsenal in 1887. This rifle is in great condition overall retaining about 96% of its original finish. There is some patina on the receiver, trigger guard, and barrel bands but many of the parts retain a very nice bluing. The bore is bright with great rifling, but there is some pitting about 2 inches from the muzzle. The rifle is all matching throughout down to the action screws. The stock is in excellent condition and retains its original finish with sharp cartouches.
