6/25/26 – For sale is a vintage “trench lighter” style lighter made from a large shell casing, most likely a .50 caliber. These styles of lighters were popular with soldiers because of their durability and ability to function even in poor weather. This lighter is made from a shell casing, indicating it was more likely produced from war surplus or scraps as a post-war souvenir. The lighter is in very good condition with no damage or scrapes. The silver soldering material is visible but is not damage. Overall a cool piece of history.
