12/10/24 – This is a great example of a box of vintage U.S. military rifle grenade launching rounds. There are 20 rounds in total in this box. The box is in good condition but was opened at some point and then resealed with tape. Looking through the corner of the box the ammo is head stamped “LC 54”. M3 Rifle Grenade ammo was developed for WW2 to be used in both the 1903A3 Springfield rifles and the M1 Garand Rifles. This ammo was used to launch the U.S. standard M17 and M9 rifle grenades. This particular ammo is from right after the end of the Korean War and was made in 1954.
