3/15/24 – This is a DWM Navy Luger issued to the Imperial German Navy during WWI. All matching with the proper “Crown M” Navy proofs and a “W.K.1557.” Navy unit marking on the back strap. Its finish rates roughly 85%. While there isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, there is spotty oxidation and areas of pin-pricking. Minor pitting and brown patina covering both grip straps. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips and comes with a mismatched Navy magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.
