Description
4/28/26 – This is an excellent example of an original Colt M1917 revolver issued to the US military. It is all matching with the proper military acceptance proofs and “United States Property” marking. It has retained about 93-94% of its original military blue. There is notable wear and light brown patina on the grip straps and a small spot of bluing loss on the top of the barrel. Fitted with excellent period-correct wood grips. The bore is very bright with strong rifling.
