Description
8/1/25 – This is an excellent, above-average example of a rare, all-phosphate finish SVW 45 Mauser P.38 from 1945. Only about 3,700 of these guns were made. This is much rarer than the SVW 45’s that have a dual tone finish with an estimated production of 7,800. All matching with the proper “Waffen 135” Nazi military acceptance proofs. These finishes are a bit difficult to rate, but we estimate this one to be about ~96%. There is just some minor thinning along the right side of the slide and a few small spots of minor discoloration – common for these finishes. Fitted with black plastic grips and comes with a correct “Waffen 135” marked Mauser magazine. Excellent, shiny bore. De-cocker is functional.
