2/29/24 – This is a minty example of a WW2 Mauser K98 sniper rifle, completely professionally restored and put together by Mitchell’s Mausers. It is mostly matching, but many of the parts have been re-numbered to match. Import mark on the barrel. Some of the Nazi military markings on the receiver have been defaced. It has been converted to a sniper configuration, equipped with a reproduction scope – excellent, clear optics. Almost no actual finish loss on the metal parts, just minor handling marks here and there. Minty wood stock. The bore has good rifling, but there is light frosting throughout.
