3/14/24 – This is a very nice example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1918. Intertwined “HP” Colt barrel. The entire gun has been re-blued, and there is very little finish loss. There are just tiny scratches and handling marks here and there and a small area of discoloration on the right side of the frame. Fitted with excellent period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone magazine. The bore has strong rifling, but there is light freckling in the grooves.
