12/6/23 – This is an “American Eagle” DWM Model 1906 sold in the US commercial market in the early 1900’s. It is all matching with the proper “Crown N” commercial proofs throughout. This one is fairly rare as it comes in 9mm and the vast majority were made in .30 caliber luger during the pre-war period. The original finish rates roughly 75%. There is obvious wear and very light pin-pricking throughout. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips – the left panel is a little loose, and there is a small chip in the upper corner. Comes with an un-numbered magazine. The condition of the bore is poor – the rifling is almost completely worn with obvious pitting throughout.
