Description
5/5/23 – This is a Navy Luger issued to the Imperial German Navy in 1917. It is entirely matching and has the proper “Crown M” proof marks. It has retained about 96% of its original finish, with a few small areas of wear at the base of the grip straps and on the trigger guard. There are also a few very light handling marks and areas of light spotty oxidation here and there, as well as some minor muzzle and high edge wear. The gun comes with a period correct and matching numbered magazine, but the magazine is double stamped and likely force-matched. The bore is shiny with strong rifling, but there is frost and pin pricking throughout. Excellent original unnumbered grips, with sharp checkering and no chips or cracks.
