Description
1/26/24 – This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1860 Army revolver manufactured in 1863. The gun is all matching and has the iconic Naval engagement scene on the cylinder, which is mostly clear. It has actually retained much of its original finish, but there is noticeable pin-pricking along the barrel. Some of the original case-hardening on the frame. Fitted with nice period-correct grips – military cartouches on both sides. Very nice bore with great rifling. Good action.
