5/6/25 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser HSC sold in the commercial market in 1942. All matching with “Eagle N” proofs and no military proofs. It comes as a rig with two period-correct Mauser banner magazines and a rare Kriegsmarine holster. There is a very faint Navy ink stamp on the ink stamp on the inside of the holster, but it is present. The holster shows a decent amount of wear, and there’s a slit around the toe. The gun has retained about 96% of its original high polish bluing. There is minor general high edge wear, some very light freckling on the right side of the slide, and some minor thinning with light spotty oxidation on the back strap. The bore has good rifling, but there is light frosting throughout.
