Description
6/11/25 – This is a very nice example of the French WWI M1916 type 2 Fighting Knife, pattern 41 made by Astier-Prodon Thiers, as marked on the blade ricasso. It comes with a scabbard that is painted black. The blade is in nice condition overall, but there are some spots of oxidation and tiny pin-pricking. The crossguard is nice and straight but shows oxidation as well. Nice wood handle with just minor bruising. The paint on the scabbard is noticeably chipped, and there are a couple of dents.
