1/13/25 – For sale is a Kar 98az made by the Erfurt Arsenal in 1917. The rifle was later reworked for the Weimar Government and stamped “1920” on the receiver. The receiver had been refinished and has a greyish matte blued finish throughout with old pitting visible underneath. The bolt and barrel bands have a blued finish. The stock is from a Polish Kar 98 and is in good condition overallbut there is a chip missing under the bolt travel path on the tang. The bore is very bright with great rifling. The rifle is mismatched throughout.
