5/22/25 – The Model 39 was the first 9 mm double action, semi-automatic pistol produced in the U.S. Steel frame models, like this example, were first introduced in 1954, but not assembled or sold until 1966, with only 927 manufactured. This pistol features standard markings as well as a rare detachable dust cover. Includes Smith & Wesson silver box with printed end label for a blue finish Model 39. Provenance: The Ernie Rice Collection. This one is in mint condition with no signs of wear or use. Factory-new bore.
