Description
8/16/21 – This is an original and correct Steyr Hahn M1912 that was reworked by Mauser for use by the German police during WW2. The Steyr Hahn 1912 was manufactured in Imperial Austria, but after the 1938 German occupation of Austria some were converted to 9mm. They were stamped ’08’ to indicate this conversion, E/N proofed, and accepted with the German Police Eagle/L. This pistol is all original and correct with about 85% bluing remaining, with most of the wear and patina on the grip frame. There is some freckling on the left side of the slide, as well. Slide and frame are both dated 1915. Bore has some frost in the grooves but strong rifling.
