5/23/25 – For sale is a Winchester Model 1873 Musket chambered in .44-40. The rifle was made in 1903. The rifle has a gorgeous blued finish throughout. There’s some dotting of old surface oxidation on the front of the receiver. There are some scratches on the side of the receiver as well. The barrel bands have some finish loss and some wear around the muzzle. The wood furniture is excellent without any cracks. The bore is bright with strong rifling. There are some fire blue accents, like on the rear sight spring and extractor. The hammer and throw lever have a hint of a case colored finish.
