6/27/24 – This is a nice example of an AC 40 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. All matching numbers, but the barrel has been ground and re-numbered to match. “Eagle 359” proofs throughout. This one comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. It has retained about 90% of its bluing. There is general minor high wear, an area of discoloration on the right side of the slide, some dots of discoloration on the left side of the slide, and some thinning with brown patina on the front strap. Excellent matching-numbered and waffen-proofed grips. The bore is mostly shiny with great rifling, but there is some freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
