7/18/25 – For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand that was originally made in 1942 and was reworked in the 50’s. The rifle was then sold through the CMP. The rifle retains a smoothed parkerized finish with edge wear. The gas tube has the most finish loss. The stock shows plenty of dings and nicks but no cracks. The forend is a replacement from CMP. The left side of the stock is stamped with the DoD Eagle. The bore is bright with good rifling, but there’s a couple specks of pitting visible. The muzzle erosion rates a 3 and throat erosion 2. Comes with the CMP Certificate of Authenticity.
