6/26/26 – For sale is a nice Eichorn marked Heer dress dagger with original officer’s hanger straps and the portepee knot. The blade has some patina and scabbard wear but is generally bright and undamaged. There is some darkening on the crossguard and fittings. The handle has consistent coloring and no chips or cracks. There is some fraying to the knot but it is still intact and firmly attached to the dagger. The scabbard has some darkening but no scrapes, dents, or major damage. The hangers are fully intact with no fraying or tears to the fabric. The fittings are discolored similarly to the rest of the dagger’s fittings. Overall in very good condition.
