6/20/24 – This is a very nice example of an original, Army-issued Colt 1911 from 1918.The pistol shows only minor finish loss on the high edges around the muzzle and front of the frame, with a little more on the mainspring housing.There is some patina and minor oxidation in a few areas, with the patina most notable on the front strap.Proper barrel with disconnected ‘H P’ markings and an excellent bore.Nice wood grips with no cracks or chips.Correct two-tone magazine.
