Description
7/24/24 – This is a very nice example of an 1896 Erfurt Reichsrevolver. It is completely matching and has Erfurt and military proofs throughout. There is a “125. R. II. 25.” military unit marking on the back strap. Comes as a rig with a scarce, period-correct leather holster. The gun’s original finish rates about 92-93%. There is general high edge wear, muzzle wear, some light freckling here and there, and brown patina on the back strap. Fitted with matching-numbered original wood grips. Excellent, shiny bore with great rifling.
